Importance Of Reuse

      A Professor used to travel from village to village and enlighten the farmers. Since that region was not so fertile, he witnessed poverty, where ever he went. Once during rainy season he visited a village and met a poor farmer family. Everybody in the family was busy in the field in pre-sowing activities.
      The farmer's wife and children were cleaning the seeds in the court yard . The professor saw that the seeds contained a lot of dust and stones. He said," you are wasting a lot of time in cleaning these seeds by hand. Don't you have a large sieve? The farmer said,"Sir, we are poor people we can't afford any costly sieve." he Professor only smiled. He searched around the house and found a rusted metal sheet. he sat down there and took out some instruments from his bag. Then he made holes on the sheet with the help of prod and some stones. Then he made some measured strips using old wood lying around. He nailed those wooden strips to the metal sheet on four sides and prepared a good sieve. He said, " Try to reuse any used things without throwing it out. Think about it."


Moral:  Reuse of every waste product saves money.
