Precious Contribution

     This is a story from ancient age! Many years ago, there was a king in Japan. His name was Daee-ishi. he was very philanthropic. He was much liked by the subjects as he implemented various plans for the welfare of the people. No one would return from his court empty-handed, without fulfilling his wish! Once King Daee-ishi decided to honor a person who had given a precious contribution to the society.
     as soon as this thought occurred, he called for the reputed personalities from each and every field. All those people came to the capital city happily as they were invited by the king himself! among these well known persons, there were renowned doctors, some very generous rich people, famous businessmen, social workers etc. Who had contributed for the society. Each of them told the king how he was the most eligible to be honoured. The king listened to all of them, but he was not much impressed by them.
     At last, a very lustrous old man came to court and told that he was a teacher. Immediately the king stepped down from his throne and bowed with respect. The most precious contribution to the society is given only by the teachers.
             Even today japan follows a tradition of respectfully bowing before the teachers.

Moral: In moulding the future of a society the teachers contribute the most.
